Dr Jessamy Hibberd
I am a London-based Chartered Clinical Psychologist, author and commentator. With over 15 years in clinical practice, I run a clinic at Wilbraham Place Practice where I work one-to-one with adults experiencing common mental health problems.
I am the co-author of the bestselling “THIS BOOK WILL…” series sold in 14 countries, which aims to help people understand themselves better and to gain more from their life. I also work as a media psychologist, regularly contributing content to almost every newspaper and magazines you can think of and I was the headline speaker at Ted-X University of Nicosia in November 2017.
I gained my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London, and completed my accreditation in CBT at the world-renowned Institute of Psychology, Kings College. I have been on a mission to make psychology more accessible ever since.
"I am profoundly grateful to Jessamy for helping me to sort out my problems with anxiety. I had suffered for more than twenty years with it, and it had played havoc with my general health. Her splendid combination of down-to earth rationalisation and personal sensitivity started to make a difference to me within a few weeks. How I wish I’d been able to see her twenty years earlier!"

My approach to Therapy
I have a kind, compassionate and caring approach and am encouraging, open, and honest. I strive to help my patients look at what’s going on in their lives and work out the best way to move forward. My specialist areas are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
I feel very fortunate to have the job I do – I get to work with some amazing people and it’s incredibly rewarding seeing them work through a difficult period in their life and come out the other side. I'm constantly inspired by the people I work with – I can honestly say that I learn something new about life from my clients every single day.
